Senior Salesforce Manager

Reporting to the Head of Business Technology, this role is perfect for a hands-on, technically skilled Salesforce professional who thrives on solving complex challenges, delivering scalable solutions, and working closely with stakeholders to maximize business value.
You'll manage our Salesforce roadmap, lead platform enhancements, and ensure seamless integration across business systems. With a 70% focus on project delivery and 30% on strategic planning and support, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Own & execute the Salesforce roadmap aligned with company goal
- Translate business requirements into scalable and technically robust Salesforce solutions.
- Stay informed on Salesforce releases and new capabilities and evaluate their relevance to the business.
- Proactively manage and maintain the Salesforce platform to ensure stability, scalability, and performance, reducing technical debt and minimizing risk of user errors.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage work items in Jira, ensuring that backlog and sprint items are regularly refined and delivered.
- Design & implement Salesforce solutions using Flows, Apex, and Lightning
- Deliver new features and enhancements through sprints and structured release cycles.
- Lead system integrations (e.g., Jitterbit, Event Case, payment gateways)
- Manage sandbox environments and coordinate code and configuration deployments using tools like Salesforce Dev Ops, Gearset/Copado and Salesforce CLI.
- Document and execute deployment plans while maintaining version control and rollback processes as needed.
- Apply structured change control and ensure user adoption of new features through clear communication and training support.
- Define and track Salesforce KPIs to assess platform effectiveness and business value.
- Collaborate across departments to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Champion Salesforce best practices, security, and governance
- Lead platform governance and own documentation standards, ensuring all workflows, automations, and customisations are clearly documented and easily understood.
About the Role:
- Deep Salesforce expertise (Sales, Service, CPQ and Experience Clouds)
- Certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder (Developer and Architect certs a bonus)
- Experience with Flows, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, CLI, Git)
- Strong integration knowledge (REST/SOAP APIs, Jitterbit, etc.)
- Agile delivery experience (Jira, Scrum, Kanban)
- Capable of managing technical delivery from scoping to deployment
- Excellent documentation practices for configurations, processes, and systems
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and user documentation skills
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on, delivery-driven approach
